You can find inner peace and fulfillment by learning to listen deeply to yourself.

You don’t have to face your struggles alone.

I’m not the average Therapist practicing in Atlanta, Georgia, that nods and hmms while you vent about what’s wrong.  My no-nonsense approach to psychotherapy integrates life coaching and assessment to help you:

  • feel less sadness about your past
  • overcome heartbreak
  • respond to anxiety in healthier ways
  • discover your self-esteem
  • stop feeling frustrated and overwhelmed
  • recover your motivation
  • cultivate genuine and connected relationships
  • experience more ease in your life

Does this describe you?

  • Are you a person who wants to live a more authentic life, but are struggling with issues that keep you stuck or repeating old patterns?
  • Do you feel sadness, grief, anger, or worry?
  • Do you experience feeling trapped, uneasy, or have difficulty making decisions?
  • Are your relationships troubled or unsatisfying?
  • Are you interested in learning more about your self and strengthen your self-awareness, but do not know where to start?

Would you like to feel…

  • Aligned with who you truly are, experiencing more joy, relatedness, and flow?
  • Comfortable in your body, more open to new ways of improving your well being?
  • More connected to the people in your life, and have relationships that thrive over time?
  • More successful in your professional and personal life as you continue to listen to yourself and act from your authentic center?

Therapy can help you heal emotional wounds and realize your potential.

My goal is to help you envision the life you want inside my office so you can live that life beyond my doors.

I work with children, teens, adults, individuals, couples, and families with these and other issues:

    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Grief and Loss
    • Relationship Issues
    • Conflict
    • Stress
    • Self Esteem
    • Body Image
    • Emotional Regulation
    • Emotional Blockages
    • Dissolving Limiting Beliefs and Emotional Patterns
    • Transition & Adjustment Issues
    • Women’s Issues

My Process

I believe therapy can help individuals at any age and from all walks of life.  I pride myself on the ability to connect with people and engage those who may feel doubtful or uncertain about therapy.  I believe every individual was born with a purpose, and that with motivation, support, guidance, and positive nourishment individuals can thrive. This desire to help and motivate others is what drives me to achieve my own personal & professional goals.

As a strength-oriented counselor, I am committed to creating a space for openness and acceptance while providing exceptional counsel to every client.  Through therapy my main goals are to help my clients to live to their full potential and to find healing and purpose in their lives. I am passionate about empowering children, adolescents, and adults to express themselves and heal through their own creative process. Every individual’s experiences and life stories are special and unique, therefore, in my practice each individual receives a unique and tailored environment for their specific needs.

In sessions I incorporate several modalities when practicing therapy and counseling including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative, solution-focused, mindfulness, and client-centered approaches. I am dedicated to helping others discover or rediscover the innate strengths that will allow them to align their beliefs, emotions, and values for a more fulfilling life. As a bilingual therapist, I am also available to work with Farsi speaking clients during therapy.

My clients and colleagues tell me I bring a genuine concern and empathy into all my encounters. I always strive to offer a safe and nurturing space to grow and experiment with the change process. Talk therapy alone does not generate lasting change. I implement interventions and homework that I believe extend what is learned in therapy into everyday life.  My goal is to help clients find both the meaning for their behaviors as well as a clear understanding of what’s holding them back, always encouraging them to find the “gift of growth” in every situation.
